How should I prepare for my first treatment?

However excites you the most! If you want to come straight from work without a thought about it thats fine! If you want to journal the night before about your intention for the session, thats fine too. I would just make sure you are aware of your intention. Are you wanting to relax and give your thinking mind a break? Are you wanting to work through beliefs that have been holding you back? Or maybe you want to connect with your ancestors or spirit guides? By being aware of your intention for the session, I can help cultivate the space for this. 

And you don't need to be freshly showered or shaved for a massage, come as you are. 

As I am not a medical professional, I do not claim to be able to cure any disease or illness. However, I do believe in the healing power of energy and body work done at the right time for the right reason. My intention is never to cure but to channel healing energy through your body—I do not know what is in your best interest in the same way that healing energy does.

What should I expect from my first session?

Before your first session there will be a form that you fill in with basic details. I will reserve space before we begin for any questions you might have about the process. The first session is usually a bit more general, where together we paint the picture of what sort of work we would like to do together by taking inventory of where you are and where you'd like to be relative to this work.

My top prioritees with this work are collaboration, results and personalisation. 

Collaboration: Prior to your first session a form will be sent through to get some insight into your intentions for this work.We may discuss any specific modalities you want to explore and 
Results: Prior to each session I will send you a short survey that allows us to track your satisfaction along different areas of your life and see trends that are helpful to progress. We will discuss personal goals you have for your program and reflect on the levers of progress at each session. 
Personalisation: I have created as many options as possible for each offering in terms of time so that you can explore as many modalities as you want without paying more than you are comfortable with. Each session exists to be as interactive as you would like, your voice is an important part of sessions.
